ToniMay

I do a good job of vicariously pumping life into this blog via other peoples  inspirations and ‘reposts’, but I haven’t really taken the time to just write about ToniMay, myself and the journey that has really only just begun. So here I am taking the opportunity of a little lull at work, to put pen to paper. 

I started dreaming up ideas of owning my own accessories label a little less than two year ago. At the time I was living in a shoebox in Paddington, and was feeling restless and unsatisfied.  It was a fairly fluid time in my life with lots of challenges, changes, and a little dash of heart break for good creative measure. 

So I got my hands dirty, bought a big old wooden desk, a drill, and so began chipping away at the dream. chip chippity chip. 

I have had a lot of people ask me why ‘ToniMay’? 

The name ToniMay in it’s simplest explanation is for the love of my grandparents Antonio and Shirley May Filippi. They are my biggest love and the kindest people in my life, without whom I wouldn’t be the woman I am. 

It is one word, because that is how I have always known them to be, inseparable.
